What's a Booster anyway???

The PHS Soccer Boosters are an active, committed group who love PHS Soccer and everything about it!  Comprised mostly of parents of the PHS Soccer team players, they are always hard at work, taking care of the business end of the soccer team, with things like:

Revolving Dollar Sign~Fundraisers:

                 1. Designing and selling PHS Soccer paraphernalia like

                     T-shirts, tote bags, hats, etc.

                 2. A 50/50 drawing held at each home game.

                 3.  Indoor Soccer Tournament

                 4.  Kids Soccer Camp

Book~Programs - Sold at each home game, these programs outline the team members, coaches, schedules, and stats.  Area businesses support the PHS Soccer team by advertising in this program.

Table~Banquets - The Annual PHS Soccer Banquet, held in November, recognizes everyone who helps to give PHS Soccer the success it enjoys.  After a delicious meal, the program starts with the coaches comments, recognition of each player, presentation of awards, and recognition of special Booster committees.

camera~Video-taping of games - An invaluable tool, used by the coaches to help reinforce the teams strengths and eliminate its weaknesses.  Booster parents are available at all games (home and away) to video-tape the games.

bouncing ball~Scheduling ball boys/girls - Ball boys and girls are provided for each home game.  These boys and girls help tremendously, keeping the pace of the game running at a constant pace.  Meals are provided for the kids between the games.

memory book~Memory books - Made by Booster parents, these memory books are distributed to the players at the Annual Banquet.  News clippings from every local paper, throughout the soccer season, are reproduced, along with individual pictures, team pictures, season records, and stats.  These books are a wonderful way for the players to look back and remember their days as a soccer player for PHS.
