Boys soccer roundup

· Parkersburg shuts out Hurricane 3-0

Corey Brown, Tim Stephens and Evan McGee had the goals Thursday night as host Parkersburg earned a 3-0 boys soccer win over Hurricane.

Parkersburg (14-2-1) entered the game ranked fifth in the state ratings, three spots ahead of the Redskins (14-2-1).

Keeper Noah Blackhurst stopped seven shots for the Redskins. Brent McGee had two saves for the Big Reds.
