Guest Teams Coming to Parkersburg High School

I-77 to Highway 50
Highway 50 West to 7th Street (first exit)
Right on 7th Street approximately 1 mile to first traffic light.
Right at light onto Fairview Drive approximately 150 yards to first stop sign.
Left at stop sign onto 23rd Street and approximately 3/4 mile to traffic light (Parkersburg High School can be seen ahead).
Left at light onto Dudley Avenue to third street to the right (just past high school) (first two form horseshoe parking in front of school)
Follow street to rear of high school and stadium is straight ahead.
Turn right at stadium and go between school and stadium to the opposite end of stadium for parking and locker rooms.

Driving Directions to Opponents' Fields

· Beckley Soccer Field (Woodrow Wilson)

I-77/64 south, continue past Beckley to the 64-77 split.
Take I-64 towards Lewisburg, (Exit 40, stayin the left lane approaching the split)
Take 1st Exit, East Beckley-Eisenhower Dr. Exit. (Exit 124).
Continue on Eisenhower drive approx. 1/4 mile past the first stop light to
Bibb Ave. on the Right. (Little green street sign on the right, also a sign that says Raleigh
Co. Animal Shelter.)
Turn Right onto Bibb Ave, this will turn into Gray Flats Rd. Stay straight
and it will lead you right into the complex. This road will veer left just
pass the animal shelter, but stay straight.
Travel to the end of the road and turn right. Parking is in front of the
clubhouse.

· Bridgeport

Directions: Rt. 50 East thru Clarksburg to I-79 North toward Fairmont. Continue on I-79 North to exit 121. Turn right off the exit and continue on this road for approximately 1.5 miles. The field is on the right "Wayne Jamieson Stadium". Use the first parking lot.

· Buckhannon

Directions: I-79 to exit 99. Follow Route 33 to Buckhannon. Exit just past the Wall-Mart onto Route 20 South (right). Go 3.5 - 4 miles through about 4 stoplights and past McD’s and Hardees. State Police Post on the left. Access road will take you to the High School.

· Cabell Midland - 2300 US Route 60 East

Directions: Exit I - 64 at either Barboursville or Milton. School is located on Route 60 between these two towns. From either exit, driving distance is about 4 miles.

· Capital

Directions: I-77 South to Charleston. Continue on I-77 South/I-64 East to the Greenbrier Street exit, "this exit is for the Airport and Capital Complex". Turn left off the exit towards the Airport/Coonskin Park. At the fork in the road stay right toward Coonskin Park. Continue past a Go Mart and at the top of the hill you will see Capital High School on the left.

· Fairmont Senior

Directions: From I-79 North or South, take the South Fairmont exit, number132 (Whitehall) and turn onto Route 250. Turn left onto 250 South and go approximately 3 miles, the Apple Valley Golf Course turnoff is on your right. Turn right onto 250 North and proceed towards Fairmont approximately 2 or 3 miles to the first traffic light at the bottom of Watson Hill. There is a Pizza Hut on your left. At this intersection if you turn left onto Mary Lou Retton Drive you will pass the Woody Williams Armory or you may continue on to Mary Lou Retton Youth Park. Proceed through the light, across the bridge and up Fairmont Ave. (Route 250 North), at the second traffic light, 12th Street, you may turn right and go two blocks to East-West Stadium. Turn left at the 4th traffic light onto 7th Street. Fairmont Senior High School is approximately 5 blocks on your left. Turn left the first block past the school and the parking lot is on your immediate left, this is the parking lot for facilities located on the main campus, the second building on the left is the New Gym. Continue on 7th Street (which turns into Oakwood Road at the high school) three more blocks to Locust Ave. (next traffic light). Turn left onto Locust Ave and go through the next traffic light (1 very short block), the entrance for Fairmont State College is on the right just after the traffic light. Soccer and softball facilities are located in Rivesville at Rivesville Middle School. To get to Rivesville proceed through the traffic light at the intersection of Fairmont Ave. and 7th Street towards downtown Fairmont, go through the 6th traffic light after the 7th Street intersection light (the Marion County courthouse is on your left at this intersection), at this point Fairmont Avenue (Route 250 North) merges with Route 19 North and proceeds approximately 3.5 miles to Rivesville. Look for the Fairview/Baxter Road after you pass the B-P MiniMart on your left, cross two sets of railroad tracks and look for the Rivesville Middle School sign on your left, Make a left turn at this sign and go three blocks and look for another Rivesville Middle School sign on your right, turn right at this sign and the school is at the end of this street. The street runs into the school parking lot. The soccer field and softball field are beyond the parking lot behind the school.

· Greenbrier East

Directions: I-77 South to Charleston. Continue on I-77 South/I-64 East to Exit 40 on the left toward Lewisburg. Take the US 219 (Exit 169) toward Lewisburg/Ronceverte (turn right). You will continue on US 219 South and proceed through downtown Lewisburg and continue on to Fairlea. You will pass a Burger King on the right, the fairgrounds will be on your left and the school is just after the fairgrounds on the right. If you reach the hospital you have gone too far.

· Huntington

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West. Take Hal Greer Blvd. exit. Left off exit ramp. Go under Interstate approx. 100 yards and turn left onto the blacktop road leading up the hill to school. Soccer field on left side of school.

· Hurricane - 3350 Teays Valley Road

Directions: I - 64 to exit 34. Drive toward Hurricane. Turn left at first stoplight and go about 1/2 mile. Hurricane HS is on the left. Games are played on Redskin Stadium Field behind school.

· George Washington High School

Directions: I-77 South to exit 99 in Charleston "State Capitol-Greenbrier Street Exit". Turn left at exit onto Rt. 114 North "towards Yeager Airport". Continue on Rt. 114 North through 4 stoplights "towards Coonskin Park". At the 5th stoplight turn left onto Coonskin Drive, you will see a Go Mart on the right. Follow Coonskin Drive past the National Guard Armory and enter Coonskin Park. Continue on this road to the pond where you will turn right. You will find Schoenbaum Soccer Complex approximately 200 yards on the right.

· Linsly School

Directions: I-77 North to I-70 East toward Wheeling. Continue on I-70 East thru the Wheeling Tunnel to exit 2A "Oglebay". Follow Rt. 40 East through traffic light and turn right onto Leatherwood Lane. Soccer field is on the right, "Holloway Field".

· Marietta

Directions: I-77 North to exit 6 (Lower Salem) End of ramp turn left on Rt. 821 South. Go to Red light, turn right on Rt. 60 to Devola. Turn at the first left after the Wine shop. Soccer fields on right….or follow 3^rd street in Marietta (Rt. 60 North) all the way to Devola.

· Nitro

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West. Take Nitro exit. Turn left, go approx. 2 miles to stoplight. Intersection will have a bank on left with time/temp. Turn right and cross RR tracks. Stay left at fork in road. Field is straight ahead on right.

· Parkersburg South High School

Directions: I - 77 South to Camden Avenue exit "Rt. 95". Stay in the right lane and at the second stop light turn right. Continue to the stop sign and turn right then left at their stadium sign. The parking lot is on the right in front of the stadium.

· Princeton

Directions: I - 77 South to Exit 9. Turn right onto US 460 West. Go to the third light (Downtown Princeton Exit). Turn right onto Ingleside Road. You will see Arby's on the left, followed by a tire shop also on your left. Get into the middle lane. Turn left just past the tire shop onto Tiger Drive. The field is on your left and the school parking lot is on your right just past the tennis courts.

· Ripley

Directions: I - 77 South to first Ripley exit (Exit #138). Turn left off of exit at stop sign and left again at the stop-light heading East on Rt. 33. Continue East on Rt. 33 under the interstate and turn right at the fifth stop-light, "Rt. 21 South". Travel on Rt. 21 South to the first stop-light and turn left; the school and stadium will be in front of you. Park by the stadium.

· Riverside - 1 Warrior Way

Directions: I-64 East (I-77 south) to the West Virginia turnpike. Exit at Chelyan exit, cross Chelyan Bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge. Turn left at 2nd stoplight onto Warrior Way. Go between school and football field to soccer field on left.

· Schoenbaum Field

· South Charleston

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West toward Huntington. Continue on I-64 West and take the Montrose exit. Turn right off the exit then left onto Rt. 60. Travel approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto "E" Street just after you pass the Joe Holland Auto Dealership. This dead-ends at the Oakes Field entrance, parking is on the street.

· Spring Valley - 1 Timber Wolf Drive, Huntington

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West at Charleston. Continue on I-64 West to Huntington. Take the VA Hospital exit (Exit #6 also known as West Huntington/Chesapeake Ohio). Turn left at the stop sign at the bottom of the exit ramp. Continue on this road following the signs to the VA Hospital; you will eventually come to a four way stop. Sign says to take a left to the VA Hospital, turn left and continue under I-64. You will see a golf course on the left about 1/2 mile beyond the stop sign. At the top of the hill, you will see the VA Hospital entrance---DO NOT ENTER. Continue just down the hill and you will see parking and the soccer field on the left before you come to the school.

· St. Albans

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West. I-64 West to Institute exit. After going under Interstate, turn right and follow Rt. 25 West to St. Albans Bridge. Follow signs to Rt. 60/ St. Albans- turn left onto bridge, cross bridge, then turn right. Crawford Field is at base of bridge.

· Wheeling Park

Directions: Choose your favorite path to Wheeling (I- 77 North to I-70 East or Route 2 North to I-70 East) Continue on I-70 East thru the Wheeling Tunnel to exit 4. Turn left onto U.S. 40 and proceed thru the first light for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto "Entrance - Wheeling Park". Follow the road past the swimming pool; turn right and follow the road up the hill past the tennis courts to the field.

· Winfield

Directions: I-77 South to I-64 West to exit 43/St. Albans. Follow Route 35 North approx. 8 miles. School is on right. Stadium is behind practice fields.

· Woodrow Wilson HS

Directions: I-77 to Beckley. Take North Beckley exit. Turn right onto US Rt. 19 South/WV Rt. 16. Stay on this road for some time. You will pass Crossroads Mall, Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Dr. Pepper/7-up Bottling plant, Raleigh Mall all on the right. You will go through an intersection with Wendy's on right, an intersection with Hills on your left. After this Rt. 19 & Rt. 16 split, bear left on Rt. 19 at a Burger King. Follow signs for Hospital. Turn left on Sandiford road still following signs for hospital (if you pass Patriot Ford you've gone too far) continue to follow signs for hospital. When you get there keep going on Sandiford Rd. Woodrow Wilson HS is about 1/4 mile beyond the hospital.

· Brooke

Directions: Choose your favorite path to Wheeling (Interstate 77 to 70 or Route 2 north) From Wheeling continue north on Rt. 2 for approximately 30 miles to just north of Weirton. School access road is on the right - Bruin Drive. If you reach the sign for Bethany College you have gone a little too far.

· Morgantown/University (playing on Morgantown HS field)

Directions: Take Route 50 to I-79 north. Exit I-79 at Exit 152 Westover and turn right onto Rt. 19 north. Wind through Westover and across river bridge into Morgantown. Continue straight through 3 lights on Pleasants Street and across another bridge to a 3-way intersection. Dominoes is on the right and Exxon on the left. Turn right and go straight ahead into fenced parking lot at the school.
